Bangkok Airport has been closed due to the on-going protests. Does this affect other airports too like Phuket, Koh Samui etc?

I understand the old Bangkok airport is also closed so domestic flights will be affected. I dont think any airports outside of BKK are affected

Supporters of the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD) started massing at the old Don Mueang airport late Wednesday, aiming to prevent ministers from flying to Chiang Mai in the north to meet Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat.

i wouldn't be surprised if chiang mai would be next.
