Teaching in Bangkok

Can anyone tell me what the average salary for a teacher is in Bangkok. Also are there are any Montessori schools in Bangkok? I am currently living outside of Thailand.

For a qualified teacher, International Schools will be from about 22,000 - 28,000 GBP for a basic teaching post, depending on experience. Responsibility will add a thousand or two to that, depending on the school.

You have to balance salary against the much cheaper cost of living in Thailand, of course, together with any benefits such as free accommodation.

Thanks for that. I don't know the translation to Baht or US dollars. Is it possible to live decently as a teacher in Bangkok on that?
